A Lightweight, Soft and Cushioned Experience
Arozzi’s Verona Pro is built with a durable metal frame and is padded with a cold moulded foam which cushions, comforts and hugs you as you play. Its sleek curvature across the back adds serious comfort, as do the neck and lumbar support cushions. The attention to design has clearly been geared toward comfort at the cost of other features; there is no padding on the armrests, and the chair itself is not perforated, meaning that heat could build up during play. There are also some limitations to adjustability, with a lock function restricted from 3°- 20° and a heigh adjustment limited to 6cm. However, what the Verona Pro does feature, it features well, with well-placed grooves and straps for adjusting the cushioning position of each padded pillow.
The Verona Pro is a bit of a bulky beast but remains standard in comparison to many top-end and XL chairs. It has a backrest height of 82cm, a seat depth of 47cm and distance between armrest at 52.5cm. At 25kg the chair is impressibly able to take up to 150g of weight, and it is fairly mobile with sturdy wheels. The design is therefore geared toward bulk and comfort, with thick pleather and a strong, heavy-duty base reinforcing the chair. This pleather is comfortable to the touch and provides an aesthetically pleasing air of quality. Again, as a mid-range chair the Pro packs in the features: height adjustment from a handle lever, adjustable backrest from another handle lever, armrest adjustability and a rocking function.
Design Alternatives & Original Accessories
The Verona Pro comes with a host of six stylish colour choices: blue, black, green, grey, orange and red. Although there are few possibilities to customise the chair, Arozzi does provide numerous headrest replacements and gas lift mechanisms among other items in case of damage. Because the Verona Pro sits at the top-end of Arozzi’s particular gaming chair catalogue, upgrades are as yet generally unavailable because the features are already at their most advanced.
Verona Pro Series Size Guide
The Pro has been designed for your average gamer, but its adjustability means that gamers of all shapes and sizes should be able to get comfortable. The Pro can take gamers up to 150kg at its limit, with a sweet spot of 140kg, and it is perfect for those between 1.80m and 1.90m in height. Given the “wide” birth of the Pro, it is safe to say that those packing a bit extra should be able to get on with this chair quite well. However, smaller gamers should take note that the birth space and armrest distances may prove a problem for their frame.
