Arozzi Monza Gaming Chair Review

The Arozzi Monza is a chair for those into serious gaming looking for an affordable chair. Although the Monza is at the low end of gaming chairs, it is designed ergonomically to provide more comfort during long gaming sessions than a standard office chair. The Monza’s design is stylish but is built using cheaper materials, with thick padding on the armrests and back. It’s a very basic chair at a reasonable price, so unlike higher end gaming chairs, you won’t find real leather on a metal frame. Instead the Monza is crafted from PU leather and toughened plastic, hardly luxurious but sturdy enough without breaking the bank. For those looking for a long lasting heavy duty chair, this probably isn’t the one for you.

Cheap And Cheerful

The Monza’s appearance is sleek and reminiscent of a bucket seat usually associated with motor racing. Although this isn’t a leather chair, the PU leather is well constructed and easy to clean. Be aware that PU leather will not hold up to the abuse that leather will, and it prone to rips. With a weight limit of up to 100 KG, it’s suitable for most gamers. However, For more heavy set gamers this chair probably isn’t going to be the best choice. Although it is relatively stable, it isn’t recommended for those that exceed the weight limit.

The Monza’s 360 swivel design is ideal for both gamers and workers, providing a smooth motion but with a lower price tag. The chair’s height is adjustable with a gas spring design. Buyers should be aware that when assembling the chair, which the orange plastic cap on the gas system is simply a protector and must be removed for the system to function correctly. The armrests are much better than other cheap chairs with plastic ones and provide a solid padded comfortable experience. The armrests, however, are not adjustable, which is a negative factor. Unlike many other chairs on the market, the tilt function is lockable, meaning you can find your ideal gaming position and lock it in place.

The backrest height on the Monza can be adjusted up to a height of 79cm, which is good but may not be suitable for taller gamers. The Monza is versatile, with a variety of other adjustable features but may not satisfy gamers looking for a fully adjustable chair.
