The DXRacer Wide is a wider chair, suitable for larger gamers. The chair is part of the W Series, which means that the seats are wider and deeper, and contain extra cushioning. The ‘Wide’ is essentially an average gaming chair at a mid-range price. The chair is well constructed with cheaper materials such as PU leather and is designed in a way to provide support to all areas of the body. Although this gaming chair has a variety of features, those looking for a more premium chair may wish to consider other models. A Cheaper Chair For Larger People?

The DXRacer Wide has the basic features you would expect in a mid-range gaming chair. This includes adjustable armrests, lumbar and neck pillows. Unlike more expensive models, the armrests are 3D instead of 4D, which does have its restrictions in regards to adjustability. The main body of the chair is constructed of PU leather with high-density mould shaping foam, which is great for comfort but not for breathability. This means that sitting in the chair for long hours may make you a bit sweaty, for those that are concerned about this it may be a good idea to look at chairs with mesh backs. The way the chair is constructed however is very supportive, and the footrest shaped aluminium base has been designed with larger people in mind, in fact, it can support up to a ton of weight. The main body of the chair, however, can only support up to 130KG. The chair has a rocking feature and a reclining back that can be adjusted between 90 and 135°. The Wide series chairs are great for those looking for a larger chair without a high price tag, but it is a shame that the weight limit isn’t higher. The PU leather used although is of high quality, may not last as long as real leather which is often used in more expensive gaming chairs.
