Pro looks Pro feel
Giving the details a once over: the Pro XL seems to be robustly built, and I should imagine it is capable of standing up to the roughest wear the gamer can dish out. The company says it has been designed with the intention of giving ultimate comfort, and with its good dimensions and load bearing capacity of 150kg, the aim has been with a view to the larger user. The chair envelopes the sitter, holding your in with its soft sides, certainly giving the feeling of security as you sit cradled in the soft yet sturdy embrace. It has a lot of side bolstering support which will certainly assist with good posture, but it does restrict the sitter’s position somewhat and gives little scope for slouching, or shifting your butt.
This is good for overall back health in the long run no doubt but some may feel a little restricted in movement. When it comes to adjustability this one has all the control you would ever need; the back and the arms are fully adjustable. The arm rests are totally 4D and can be repositioned up and down or angled and tilted and then locked in place by holding down the little button concealed under the rest. The Pro XL is fully height adjustable and relies on the standard gas piston system cushioning. It rests on a strong foundation with its classy 5 point aluminium base

In terms of style, this chair definitely looks the business. The synthetic leather material comes in a number of different colour combinations: from the classic all in one black to black with red accents, black with blue accents, and black with white accents.
The stitching is a compliment to the colour schemes; on the black chair, for instance, the stitching is a standout red which tastefully sets off the look. The combinations colours may not be to everybody’s taste and may even appear to be aggressively in your face, but while they may not be so suitable for an office environment, they will certainly get you in the mood for some serious gaming. Of course, it comes provided with its own small, branded lumbar support cushion and a head cushion, both of which can be positioned and held in place with an elasticized strap.
While the Pro XL has been designed for large users, some might find the 56cm wide seat to be a little on the tight side, with the rising side bolsters making for an uncomfortably close fit. The back rest comes up at 96cm and is fully tiltable to an angle of 160 degrees. As an all round option, combining a great aesthetic, full adjustability and a decent price point, the Pro XL is hard to beat.
